A Figurine's description

Figurine: Mostly depicting living things, that are easily carried, figurines are three dimensional little piece of art. Early fired earthenware figurines were formed by hand. This method continued to be used for a long time. Beginning around 700 B.C. moulds were used to produce figurines. These little figures were made to serve as offerings-dedications to the gods and are formed in the shape of the god or goddess to which the figurine was dedicated.
