Concerning the prices on the CAVA souvenir market, it is better to always negotiate at 25% of the price requested by the seller and sometimes from 10% until you reach the price you feel the item is worth it. There is a minishop if it is possible to call it that where you can buy water. You need to be patient and to establish an itinerary before starting your walk as you will hear alot the sellers calling you ''mon ami, mon ami'' just to visit their place first. Everything you buy made from terracotta you will need a permit from the national museum once you leave the country otherwise, you will be stopped by the airport customs. The permit doesn't cost much but if you dont know anyone in Abidjan then you need to know how to do it yourself. There is a fixed cost of 2000 CFA and then per item it is 500 CFA.
