Found in Egypt, Ethiopia and Somalia. This species lives in montane habitats including scrubland, grassland, and some types of woodland. Lives in troops in semi-desert areas, savannah and rocky areas with cliffs. Omnivorous. Primary Diet: Feeds on grass, roots, corns, seeds, insects, reptiles and small mammals. Usually gives birth of one young after a gestation period of 6 months. Status: Exotic.
